About the event
In this workshop you will be lovingly supported through the process of creative flow, allowing you to access repressed aspects of self, helping you to you lovingly accept, express, and regulate the rejected parts of you, bringing balance and wholeness to every part of your being.
This workshop is not about making pretty artwork, it's about the process of making the art, and the gift of authentic self expression.
Sean Kathleen is a Depth-Oriented Jungian life coach, Expressive Arts Teacher and Facilitator, Master Sound Healer, and Dual Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician. She will be there to guide and support you as you heal emotional repression through powerful practices of self-expression.
Intuitive creativity is a powerful way to see what needs to heal from your past, so that you can feel at peace in the present moment, and envision a more inspiring future!
You can transform painful emotional states by entering into the imaginative world of play, dreams, visions, free association, guided imagery, making art, interacting with art, and using metaphors and brainstorming.
In this class you will gently explore your unconscious mind by using different art and journaling exercises, bringing light to all repressed and rejected aspects.
This is an incredibly fun, freeing experience. It's a chance for you to reclaim those rejected aspects of yourself, and embrace your whole, sacred self.
Psychiatrist Carl Jung believed that the Shadow could provide profound insight about the missing pieces of our character, and it could be damaging to our lives if not seen, acknowledged and integrated.
Typically, we tend to reject the parts of ourselves that were socially shamed in the past.
Inspiration lives on the other side of your troubled emotions. Clear out deep pockets of emotional pain to make room for more inspired creativity.
